Surya is a Partner and Executive Vice President at Advanced Data Systems. He has a strong background in engineering and over 14 years of experience working with GE, specializing in shop floor automation.
With skill in managing a cost-effective offsite-onsite model, Surya helped bring to market MedicsDocAssistant and MedicsCloud, both of which are multi-specialty EMR products. As head of the EMR vertical, Surya is responsible for managing product focus, delivery, compliance, and in meeting the company’s business goals.
Surya's expertise in FANUC robotics was honed when he was trained in Japan and was part of the core team that set up the state-of-the-art GE FANUC plant in Bangalore, India. Before joining Advanced Data Systems, Surya, as a Director at Bartronics, helped build a business around auto-ID technologies.
Aside from his professional accomplishments, Surya is actively involved in philanthropy. He is the founding member and CIO of LIG Global Foundation, Inc., a designated 501 (C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing medical and non-medical volunteers to underserved populations worldwide.
