Sheryl Miller is a seasoned entrepreneur with the majority of her career focused on Healthcare IT.
Sheryl Miller has spent the last 20 years in senior leadership roles with the aim of developing innovative solutions to improve healthcare outcomes. She is an expert in driving change, leveraging her extensive network of industry contacts and relationships to bring strategic vision to market. She is committed to providing comprehensive support while bridging technology gaps and tackling complex problems with enthusiasm and tenacity.
Sheryl started her career working for an HMO in the Northeast. Her husband was a talented computer specialist and programmer. After he wrote some programs that dramatically helped the HMO, doctors asked the Millers to help them with software for their practices. So they started their first business, LSM Computing, Inc., in Practice Management and early Electronic Health Records for Physicians. That company was the first acquisition by a newly formed public company, Medical Manager, which eventually sold to WebMD. While Sheryl was involved, the stock went from an IPO of $ 11 to $ 114 in 2 years.
Sheryl got involved with other Healthcare IT organizations, helping them to grow and be acquired by other companies. She then looked for the right company to join that had robust products and services for Medical Practices and Facilities. Sheryl found her home many years ago at ADS. Sheryl’s passionate about helping medical practices and facilities to optimize their financial profitability, so they can concentrate on taking great care of their patients with all of the tools and services that ADS has to offer. She finds the combination of innovative technology and automation at ADS combined with the knowledgeable, caring staff makes such a difference in the end result. She loves that the ADS partners are software engineers that constantly enhance their products and services to meet and exceed the needs of their customers.
Within the company, Sheryl is focused on creating and maintaining a collaborative work environment to achieve phenomenal results with staff and clients together. Sheryl takes great pride in the resulting growth our clients have experienced through their partnership with ADS.
Sheryl believes in contributing to patient advocacy and is involved in Patients for Patients, a non-profit organization that helps patients travel to get the proper medical care for their specific critical condition.
