Our cloud servers run as virtual machines in a Windows Hyper-V cluster which is provisioned with enough resources to continue normal operations during a single server outage. In addition, the entire cluster environment is continuously replicated to another location with a 5-minute replication threshold which can be brought online in case of a catastrophic outage. Backups are performed nightly to encrypted storage utilizing the industry-standard Veeam Backup and Replication software with 30 days’ worth of recovery points maintained at all times.
